The project is a 340sqm remodeling project to turn an existing apartment block in the Asian side of Istanbul into home and gallery spaces for Deniz Sağdıç, a Turkish Artist. The artist is known for ready-made artwork of portrait images assembled from waste material. The project aims to provide ample gallery spaces and living quarters for the artist, with the minimum adjustments to the existing building and showcasing sustainability and the appropriation and reuse of existing materials. The large flat screens on the façade will be populated with the artist's waste projects.
